Fulltext-search the trails
You can add your own trail or route here. It just takes a couple of minutes to add a trail: Add trail
This trail consists mainly of fast, relatively easy single track which rolls through foothill oaks. It's a great speed workout because you can sprint up the hills and recover on the backsides. There are a few tricky spots including seasonal water crossings and a couple of short steeps which earn it the + rating. However, I've taken complete beginners out here who did very well by simply walking the tough spots.
Be careful on the downhills though, the trail is deceptively fast and some of the turns are off camber. Everyone I know who rides it regularly has crashed at one time or another. You must also be ready for hikers, horses and dogs around every bend as this is a multi-use trail that gets lots of traffic on the weekend. If you can make it out early in the morning during the week, you'll only have to share the trail with deer, turkey, bobcats and the occasional mountain lion.
